Last Week

Last week was adventure week and we did a variety of things

Monday: On Monday I started off with cooking I had to make golden cookies we used golden syrup sugar choc chips and baking soda. Later that day we did a Digi task thing where we did a some tasks and games me and William did a real hard game.

Tuesday: On Tuesday we got some more Digi Tasks like a card game one and we also did more cooking and some flax there was also the town trip some people went to Washington park.


Wednesday: On Wednesday we went fishing but I don't know anything else


Thursday: On Thursday we did Jellie-Park and swam around.

This is my blog for week 9 I haven't blogged in ages so Im doing it now.Yesterday we learned two new games called hot seat and minefield they are both team building games 

Minefield rules

• You have to guess the right order in where the mines will explode 
• You get the wrong order you get put into the back of the line 
• You can't jump\go around the minefield   

Hot Seat Rules

• There is a seat that the person sits on and he\she tries to guess the word
• The people can't say the word that is chosen but they can give hints 
• If the individual guesses right they get to choose the next person on the hot seat.

W6 Friday

I've enjoyed this week dodge ball tech but my favorite teacher Nogo is really sick so he's not here for a little bit when he comes back it will be real good because he's really funny and has work that is not  that hard and he also does dodge ball a lot.

Week 6 T3 Blog

Its the start of the week and its already going quite good I've done one blog my WW1 facts and my spelling we went to the library yesterday and got two books hopefully the rest of week is as smooth.

WW1 blog

My Week W5

This week has been pretty bad I've been sick and had to take 3 days off school because of it. I have to catch up with some work but today(Friday) We had a assembly and some kids showed off their amazing singing skills. The talent quest chose their winners from age groups and we sung the national anthem. After the assembly we stacked the chairs and went for a run now here I am writing this blog. 

Thursday Tech and Manaiakalani

Yesterday was Thursday and it was tech day we arrived on the buses and we had a girls bus and boys bus. My group went to the technology class and were making Circuit things that would turn on when put into a certain place. When we left tech we had morning tea and went to break. When we got back to class we did silent reading and went to break. We had lunch after break then we did Manaiakalani  with Mark Maddren. He told us about commenting and gave us tips about blogging and we commented on Parkview School. After another break we did math's and went home.

What I actually learnt today was...
Connecting wires and cutting them in technology without breaking them and drilling holes in specific areas.

Hokey Pokey Recipie

This is a recipe to make hokey pokey witch is my science experiment.

Three flies in the all black changing room.

On a blistering hot Saturday night the All Blacks are playing against the Hurricanes.The All Blacks are losing 30-nil.

“We are getting crushed!” Alan Good, yelled in the changing room.

“Yea and these three pesky flies won't stop bugging me” Billy Watson said clearly frustrated.

Those “pesky flies” had names.

Bobby, Joe and Tony, were eating food that had trickled down from the stand.

Joe yelled in excitement, “ We could survive for years with this food!”

“Yea” said Tony “the only way we will die is of old age.”

 "Well, we should at least enjoy this food before these people start getting annoyed" said Joe.

Head Coach Jonathan walked in there was a long pause

“What is going on out there? You are getting dominated!” he asked 

“I'm sorry sir but these flies are getting our players angry and they aren't concentrating on the game.” Hugh Good explained.

“Kill the damn flies then!” the head coach yelled.

“Hear that guys? They plan to kill us.” Joe sobbed

“Well the windows open so we could just leave by the window.” Bobby said casually

“Well let's go, take some food and we will be gone.” Tony said

As they were leaving Bobby noticed something cobwebs and dead flies. They were going to fly into a spider web, a trap. 

“STOP!” Bobby screamed there's a spider web.

But it was too late he and his brothers fell into the spider web.

“Help.. Bobby,” screamed Joe and Tony.

Bobby tried with all his might but he couldn't get them free and then he saw a fat white tail spider scuttling its way over Bobby as he was trying to set his brothers free. The spider was on top of Joe and it was spinning its web around him, soon enough he was cocooned.

“SAVE ME?" Tony screamed in terror. A noble death by the two to save their brother.

Science W3

For the beginning of term 3 we have been doing science and chemical reactions I have been a group with Josh and we are making hokey pokey. We have the ingredients to make it we just need to book a time and start making it.  Once we've done that we will take photos and put it on our blog.

The shark and the polar bear argument.

Argument

Shark vs. Polar Bear

If a shark and a bear got into a fight in jello, a place where neither of them has the advantage of being in their natural environment, which one do you think would win and why?

Write an argument about the above proposal.

If a shark and a polar bear got into a fight and they were both in jello I think the shark would lose because it has to move to breathe and jello would be hard to move in. The polar bear can breathe

for ages so the polar bear would win; but if the jello was soft and easy to move in, it would be hard

to say because they can both swim and breathe underwater. They both kill other animals with lethal efficiency and a will to survive. I still stay with the polar bear to win because if it gets too injured it can go on land but the shark can’t so if the shark got injured it would be slow and easy prey for the polar bear. The shark couldn't win against a polar bear unless it was in water. That’s why I think the polar bear would win.

My Blog

This week I have done all of my work including 3 parts of my writing of The 3 flies,Self reflection and the shark v polar bear argument. So I have done most of my work I just need to make my logo.

My science inquiry week 1 and week 2

What have I done so far?

So far for science I am waiting for the ingredients to make hokey pokey my partner is Josh Coe. We have done a google drawing made for our science witch is shown below on basic instructions. We have also made a ingredients list but for now this is it.

Learning about green screen

A green screen is a green sheet of cloth but the computer cant recognize so you can put backgrounds  where the green screen should be so you could be in the mountains or a volcano.Green screen is fun to use and can also help in making YouTube videos. 

Career

On Thursday we showed our work to a bunch of year 6s. I did a bricklayer so I was at the construction area there was multiple areas Construction' Medical' engineering' Creativity and' armed forces. Most of the year 6s went to the creative area to learn about creating things and ideas Mechanic was another popular one it was run by Ashton M he did a great job with the facts of being a mechanic. Some people came to the construction area where me and Mackai were but everyone liked Architecture. It was fine though because then my work dident get put into the spotlight.

Qualities in others

My idol is Demetrius Johnson he is a professional UFC fighter with 27 wins and 3 losses. He is the champion
of flyweight and his nickname is mighty mouse and he is a real nice guy even though he fights people he

My reflection

This week has started pretty good Monday was normal math, literacy, and writing. Today(Tuesday) we have done rotations doing things like movies,languages, and drama and kahoot. For math we did polygons and a math website called Prototec we did polygons on google drawing.Last week there was lots of stuff we did like my birthday and my birthday party I invited Josh Jack Talan.

What you will need: A piece of A4 paper

Today we learnt how to find the area of a square. Then we learnt how to find the Perimeter by adding all the lengths of the sides.

Tech day

When we arrived my group started at sewing we did shorts or skirts.I did some significant progress  and am real close to finishing.Then we had a break and went to cooking we made muffins they were alright and then we left.

Last week

Last week we had alot of things to do including basketball,Winter sport,and cross country.I 

dident participate in any of them but my friends did and they did pretty good they told me about it.The weekend was extra long with the queens birthday.

The other day matt asked 5  people to come up in front of the class and do 15 seconds worth of push ups those people seemed to struggle but jack and liam D did it with ease

My career

I want to be a bricklayer if they are qualified they make 35-40 dollars a hour and if they are not qualified they make 18-20 dollars a hour it is a easy job to find and takes 2-4 years of training.

This mornings rotation

This morning we did rotations in groups the activities we did was acting Te reo Maori and a watched a little bit of a movie.I liked all of it because it was enjoyable and fun for Te reo Maori we had to write some words in and maori and pronounce them.When we did acting we did 2 different games a difference game and a and a card game.For the movie we watched a little bit of Holes and we had to write about what came after my.

In the weekend my mum and I went to

school and played basketball. I practiced my

three point shot and fadeaway. The ‘fade away’

shot is quite difficult to do as it is meant to happen
as you are going backwards. Mum took a few shots
and got them in. She also did some moves. I found
it funny.

We left the school to go home and had lunch. I played
on my xbox and my mum sat in the lounge playing on
her phone.   

MILOS

I have been doing 2 different milos flips and drawings I have my goal is to land it I have landed on My feet but I fall over I have also been doing drawing.I have been drawing people and places including the Eiffel tower  and the great wall of china I also drew the white house I put them in the bin .

THE END

Term 1 Reflection

The last six weeks have been alright, having games of dodgeball and tech have both been very entertaining. Running(walking) the bike track makes me more exhausted than a tired dog. I have been put in different groups since last year. I am in Nogo’s literacy group and Sharon's math group. I have met new people in this class and have started growing taller. I've started to put more interesting words in my writings like exhausted and entertaining. Comparing myself now to last year I have improved in maths, linking, writing, literacy and spelling.

Milos

This is my reflection for 2019 
I am doing flips i am trying to learn how to land a front flip its really hard for me to land it but i have gotten close to landing it.Landing on my  knees and trying side flips i aim to land it next week.
